MeBattery’s 1st Advisory Board Meeting

With all contracts being in place, MeBattery officially kicked-off their cooperation with their external advisors by holding a 1st Advisory Board meeting on 27 September 2024.

Since this meeting was meant as an introduction to the project, in the first part, all consortium partners introduced themselves with the expertise that they are bringing into the project. This included their role and tasks in MeBattery. In addition, the coordinator Edgar Ventosa presented MeBattery’s ambitious goals in a nutshell.

The second part was planned as an open discussion between the MeBattery consortium and the group of Advisory Board members. On the one hand, the partners offered them the possibility to ask questions about some technical aspects of the project. On the other hand, the partners took the opportunity to get the advisors’ view about the challenges the project is facing with regard to scaling up and the exploitation of the MeBattery technology from an industrial point of view. With only academic partners involved in the project, this interaction with the Advisory Board is now bridging the gap to the industry perspective.

We are happy to have our advisors, among them B5Tec, Jena Flow Batteries and Unbound Potential, on board for expert advice driving forward our ideas. Further meetings with the Advisory Board will be scheduled in regular intervals.
